Very discipline.....after not so descipline, haha!!

Your mommy just came back from our short Vegas trip with uncle Kelvin, uncle Monjie and I. Guess what you did while we were gone?? Below is an email message a few of your aunties and uncles, including myself, received from your mommy.

Message from your mommy.....

Apparently De wasn't being responsible about his duties while we were in Vegas last week.

He totally over-played on the computer and over-watched his DVD. Obviously I found out after I got home so I had a talk with him.

Before I even start the conversation, he voluntary told me to hide his laptop and his dvd player so he can catch up in the "re-do" human department first. He says "but only hide it and don't donate it like u how u donated the DS because I want it back once I am all caught up with my work, by this weekend. Also don't hide it in the same old places please"

I was so proud of how discipline he was and how mature of him to recognize where his weakness lays (temptations). Also the fact he knows what his priorities should be...

New Look

It was January 8 this year (2011) that uncle Monjie and I took Jordan and you to bowling. When I picked you up from home, I noticed you had glasses on you. You told me you just started wearing them. I think you look great with glasses. You looked intelligent, smart and mature.

Through the bowling games, the glasses didn't seem to bother you. You and Jordan had a great time. We met your mom and uncle Kelvin for dinner. The moment she saw you with glasses, she wasn't pleased. :) Why? She never thought people look good in glasses. Well, that is a little deficiency she has about glasses. Seeing her with the unsatisfied look on her face was quite funny.

A week later, I was at your house for dinner. Your brother Kelvin was there too. We both started to talk about how good you look with glasses on. We both agreed that you do look intelligent. For as much as you mom wanted to get a laser surgery done on your eyes, that wouldn't happen until you turn 18. By the time you're 18, it'll be your decision to whether you want to wear glasses anymore or not. Meanwhile, enjoy your glasses cus you look great!! :))

Toronto visit and flight to Vancouver

After we finished the 7-days cruise, we went to Toronto to attend Veronica's wedding and to visit Maggie and her family. We spent 3 days there.

The first day (Sept 4) was when we attended Veronica's Wedding Banquet. You didn't know any kids there. It didn't take long for you to make new friends given your friendly personality. There were some items for guests to make funny faces and to enjoy themselves. You picked a pair of big "nerdy" glasses to wear. You didn't let me take pictures, but I managed to sneak a couple from a distance. How can I not capture this face my dear??

Your mommy was supposed to come back with us. She decided to visit your brother Kelvin in Montreal. She postponed her flight to a few days later. You and I left as scheduled. This was the first time you and I sat together on a plane. From when we were dropped off at the Toronto Airport to arriving, I considered that as our quality time.We chatted quite a bit of things. We watched some shows on TV as well. Oh remember your first job of shredding for me? You finished one box. You were going to get paid after you finished all 5 boxes. When we were waiting to be boarded, you asked if I could pay you for the first box. You said you wanted the money. I didn't have to ask what you wanted it for because you earned it. ;) I paid you of course. All of a sudden, I felt you were so much older and matured. Regardless, you would always be my cutest and dearest god-son.

I really enjoyed the time we spent in the plane. Thank you!

Cruise - August 2010

We headed to the 7-days cruise after Orlando on Aug 28, 2010. This was the largest ship in the world - The Oasis of the Sea.

The last tine we went to cruise was on Freedom of the Sea in 2007. It was the largest ship then. This one is even bigger and better. The Day Camp Program cater for kids were awesome! You and Carleton enjoyed it so much that u want to go there most of the time.

The first port was The Bahamas. We got out of the ship and walked to the closest beach. You and Carleton kept chasing and running away the small waves. Look at the pictures I posted, you were having such a fun time. These are the moments I want to capture and blog them. When you read this blog years later, I hope you will remember the great times you had. You also enjoyed the snorkeling in Cozumel, Mexico. I didn't go with you guys that day. Uncle Eric took some shots. Look how relaxed you are!!!

Besides the beach and the Day Camp, you were so much into playing mommy's iPad in the evening as well. Your heart was so much with the iPad that you look dull when we took pictures one evening. When mommy realized it, she was about to not let you play if you couldn't be in the moment when we took pictures. There is time to play, time to eat and time to spend with mommy, etc. Guess you realized it after mommy mention. Look! You look more pleasant and present after when taking pictures.

Sponge Bob was one of your favourite cartoons so are the characters. You and Carleton used the cards to put together a Sponge Bob and his friend Gary's image in our room. I of course wouldn't want to miss the chance of capturing that moment. You see! Here are the pictures of your "master pieces". ;)))

Oh, there was another incident I want to blog. Just couple

nights before we disembark, Celine organized a party in her room and invited you and Carleton to go. Before you left our room, your mommy had asked you to come back at a certain time.

You were always good in keeping the time. you came back before the agreed time. Carleton didn't come back with you. It was getting late after we waited for a while. I went down to get you. You guys knew it was me and didn't answer the door. We ended up ask you to go and get Carleton back. About 10 minutes later. You both came back. You acted so much like a commander and told Carleton get ready to bed. You said this as soon as you both walked in, "go shower, brush your teeth and go to bed". We (your mom, auntie Erica and I) couldn't help but laughed. You were such a leader. I am sure you will be a very discipline leader in the future. ;)))))
