You have been a very honest kid. Honesty is your mommy's highest value. She's taught you to be honest and don't lie. She always says, "Lie ruins the trust between people."
You're still in your Spring Break. You don't have a lot of work to do. Your mommy has put a limit of 30 minutes each time when you playing video games. You've been attaining to this no problem. Last night, your mommy went to class after dinner until about 10pm. When she asked you how long you played. You said 20 minutes. You know what? The reason she asked is because she could tell from your face that you played more than 30 minutes. You told her you only played 20 min. She trusted you she said. She only wanted to check the video cameras just for the record that you indeed only played 20 min. By that time, you said, "fine, I lied." The consequence of this lie was to write "I will not lie again" a thousand times.
Today when I went to your house, your mommy told me about this and said you were upstairs writing. Well, you're not the only. Jody and Kelvin had done the 1000 times as well when they were young. They even had to write all of the Family Values that your mommy had set out. You, at some point, are lucky to just write the one sentence. Lol!
By dinner time, you finished 250 with 750 to complete. Your mommy didn't give you a deadline of when to complete. The only condition was you couldn't watch TV or play anymore video games before you finish writing. Kelvin, your dearest brother, said if you ate the corn and the chestnut from the dinner dishes, then that would offset 100 times. From there, you started to negotiate with mommy. By the time dinner was done, you managed to offset about 300 times.
You came to your mommy's office after dinner and negotiated again! The deal was finally sealed that you'd allowed your mommy to bite both side of your butt to offset 175 times. Then you asked Jody to do same to offset 50. At the end, you only had 250 times left to write. You completed them tonight. Now, you could watch TV.
I'm sure this experience has given you a valuable lesson of not to lie anymore. :)))
By the way, today is your birthday. Happy Birthday Deon! It's such a meaningful day to learn your lesson.
